Getting a survey is very important.  Our company will setup a survey for you at no cost.  Once we get the results, we will send the actual survey to you for your review.  We will also send you a quote based on your survey results; however, the invoice will be based on what you actually take.  If by chance you need to stay within a specific budget, we can help you with that as well.  

There are five ways that we can make sure that we stay within close to your budget:

First of all, we will use as many crates as your budget will allow.  For example, if you only want to take 1,000 lbs, then we would use only one crate as they normally hold about 1,000 lbs each.

Second, we will keep track of the items on the inventory sheet.  We have found that every 1,000 lbs will take up one full page of inventory which is usually a combination of boxes and furnitures.

Third, we keep track of how long the movers take to pack and/or load the shipment.  We have learned that every 1,000 lbs takes about an hour of pack/loading for three movers.

Fourth, we rely on our agent to "eyeball" your shipment.  Given their level of expertise, they can pretty much let us know just by looking at your household goods if your shipment is going to fit into the allotted number of crates and stay within your budget.

Lastly, we will determine the net weight and cubic feet of your shipment at the local warehouse after your initial pick up date.  This will ensure that your invoice will be close to what you expect.
